       Housing for Seniors

Housing for Seniors

We can help with the following types of housing for seniors:

Personal Care Homes and Assisted Living Facilities

Personal care homes include any dwelling that provides or arranges housing, food
service, and one or more personal services for two or more adults who are not related to
the owner or administrator by blood or marriage. Personal services include but are not
limited to individual assistance with and supervision of self-administered medications and essential activities or daily living such as eating, bathing, grooming, dressing, and
toileting.

An Assisted Living Community is a personal care home that is licensed to serve 25 or more residents and offers assisted living care which includes personal services such as bathing, shaving, brushing teeth, combing hair, toileting, dressing, eating, walking, transferring from place to place, laundering, cleaning, managing money, writing letters, shopping, etc., administration of medications by certified medication aides and assisted self-preservation for the residents of the community. Nursing Homes

A nursing home is a facility that provides rehabilitation care and/or long-term, comprehensive, medical, personal and social services to chronically ill and disabled individuals. The care may be skilled nursing care on a 24-hour basis by registered nurses or intermediate care on a less than 24-hour basis by licensed practical nurses or registered nurses.  Read More...

Independent Living

Independent living offers a variety of choices appropriate for individuals whose physical and cognitive health allows them to continue living on their own, with no or very limited assistance. Read more...

Non-Subsidized

For the most part, other than meals and housekeeping, no other support services are offered and these communities are for independent adults whose physical and cognitive health allows them to continue living on their own, with no or very limited assistance. Read more...
