Caregiver Recognition

Each year the Atlanta Care-Net invites members of the community to nominate an outstanding caregiver for the “Caregiver of the Year” award. One caregiver is selected from each of three categories:

  1. Family Caregiver
  2. Para-Professional Caregiver and
  3. Volunteer Caregiver.
The three regional winners then compete for the “Georgia Caregiver of the Year” awards. The state awards are presented by the Rosalynn Carter Institute for Caregiving at the Annual Caregiver Summit in Americus, Georgia.

To help older adults and caregivers find services, ARC has developed an extensive database of aging services providers in the Atlanta region.

Those looking for services can call AgeWise Connection at 404.463.3333 to speak to a certified information and referral specialist or search the database online.
