Thanks Mom and Dad Fund

Thanks Mom & Fund call for grant applications. Deadline December 1, 2008

The Thanks Mom & Dad Fund^® was created in 2001 by the Atlanta Regional Commission in cooperation with the Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta. The fund works to improve the quality of life for older adults and honor the contributions older generations made to our lives and communities. Through its grants, the fund seeks to encourage innovation and increase services for older adults in Georgia. The fund makes one round of grants annually.

The annual Thanks Mom & Dad Celebration is the fund's principal fundraiser. Proceeds from this event, along with gifts from individual and corporate donors, are the main sources of funding for the fund's unrestricted gifts.

Thanks Mom & Dad Fund is pleased to provide the attached Grant Application Form and guidelines for the Thanks Mom &Dad Fund®.  Proposals for the 2008 grant awards will be accepted from aging programs and service providers in the State of Georgia.  2008 Grant Application
