SPARC EventsSPARC (Sickness Prevention Achieved through Regional Collaboration) – ARC, in collaboration with local partner agencies, is implementing a community-based model to increase access to preventative health services among older adults. This partnership with community health organizations and health care providers promotes disease prevention by delivering numerous services in one setting. (BUNDLING of Services). CDC has partnered with ARC to assist in all aspects of implementation and data gathering. Three county-based agencies participated in this pilot project (Fayette Senior Services, DeKalb County Office of Senior Affairs and Fulton County Office of Aging). Additional counties are planning to offer host SPARC events at polling places on Election Day.
